TheCollegeofInternationalCultureandEducation(CICE)ofGuangxiNormalUniversitywasestablishedinFebruary2000,onthebasisoftheCenterforTrainingChineseLanguageasaSecondLanguageandtheCenterforInternationalExchangesofCultureandEducationwhichwasfoundedin1979.ItnowconsistsoftheDepartmentofChineseLanguageandCultureandtheDepartmentofForeignLanguagesandCultures,enrollingstudentstoundertake4-yearundergraduateprogramsortostudyinthelong-termandshort-termprograms.ItisresponsiblemainlyfortheenrollmentandteachingofinternationalstudentsandChinesestudentsstudyinginthejoint-ventureeducationprograms.Thecollegenowhasafull-timeChineseteachingstaffasmanyas18people,ofwhomthereare1professor,5associateprofessors,5doctorsandwould-bedoctors.Thecollegeisequippedwithahighly-competentteachingstaff,well-qualifiedadministrators,andup-to-datefacilities.Itpossessesamulti-functionalInternationalExchangeBuildingwithafloorspaceof15,000squaremeters,whichisfacilitatedwithaconventionhall,multi-mediaclassroom,computernetworkroom,audio-visualroom,soundlaboratory,readingroom,referencelibrary,recreationalcenter,cafeteria,etc..ItsInternationalServiceCenterpreparesroomsofvariousstandardstoaccommodatearound1,000peoplewithitsgoodservice.
